March 1 in Osh (the regional center in southern Kyrgyzstan) held a mass rally of the opposition. Its members, as reported by AKI, demanded the resignation of the incumbent government of the republic, as well as convening a constitutional conference.
The rally was attended by representatives of the opposition party Ata Jurt (Fatherland), Butun Kyrgyzstan (United Kyrgyzstan) and the Communist Party.
