The Kyrgyz government unanimously approved the interdepartmental commission on the country's accession to the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) and the Common Economic Space (CES). It is reported by AKI. According to the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Atambayev, God willing, and from 1 January we will be in a common economic space.
As an added Atambayev, Kyrgyzstan to join the Customs Union (CU), and will remain a participant of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan is not a WTO member. The Minister of Economic Regulation of the Republic Uchkun Tashbaev noted that in May and September, the country will meet the TC, then Kyrgyzstan will only ratify the treaty of accession to the Union.
In turn, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Russia welcomed the decision by the Kyrgyz government, Interfax. According to him, a visible step toward mutual integration.
Agreement on the establishment of the EEA was signed in December 2009 by the Presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. According to the agreement of the parties, the formation of the SES to be completed by January 1, 2012, and then within it will create a common energy market and common transport space.
On January 1, 2011 Russia as part of a CES agreed with Belarus on the duty-free supply of oil in exchange for part of the Belarusian export duties on oil products. In addition, Russia since the beginning of this year, agreed to abolish tariffs on exports of petroleum products in Kyrgyzstan.
