Deputies of the Kyrgyz parliament passed a resolution designed to prevent unauthorized telephone tapping intelligence. It is reported by AKI.
The document is entitled On shutting down the system hardware of mobile operators for functions of search operations in the CD. It is a system (also known by the abbreviation SORM), which requires mobile operators to cooperate with special services and gives security forces the opportunity to listen to the talks without the sanction of the court.
Resolution, as reported by ITAR-TASS news agency, requires operators to turn off all the gateways that enable you to listen to citizens. A special services staff members who worked in the cellular companies, ordered to vacate rooms.
If the operators will ignore this decision, the government will deprive them of the license, – said by decree Zhaparov. That the deputies are going to do if they ignore the ruling intelligence, is not specified.
