In Kyrgyzstan, after the exodus of the soldiers brought a case of bullying

In Kyrgyzstan, the military prosecutor's office instituted criminal proceedings against members of the military unit, which recently ran out of 15 conscripts. It is reported by news agency 24.kg referring to a lawyer Ivan Plahutina.

According to the lawyer, accused of abuse of office a few lieutenants and several sergeants and warrant officers.

As part of the investigation, told the lawyer, questioned the seven soldiers (one of those that escaped from the side, and then returned). All seven of the soldiers talked about systematic beatings, extortion, that were released in a dismissal only when they are loaded in the unit cell phones, buy a drink or a meal, and non-commissioned officers, – he said.

Escape from military unit No. 41069 Bishkek garrison was made December 8 (according to Plahutina, the fugitives have used the fact that the sergeants and officers were drunk). A total of 15 parts fled conscripts. However, the next day they voluntarily came to the prosecutor.

The soldiers said they decided to escape because of the abuse on the part of commanders, and also because they were forced to take some responsibility for hazing in the part. I suffered when I was beaten, – said one of the fugitives returned. – But I could not take the fact that I did not commit. We were forced to flee.

According to human rights defenders, the soldiers showed signs of beatings.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyz Defense Ministry contended that in escaping the soldiers themselves were beaten fellow-conscripts, and that they fled because of that fear of liability.
