Head of the State Penal Service of Kyrgyzstan Sheishenbek Baizakov denied rumors that the ex-convict brother, president of the republic Akhmad Bakiyev will soon be released. It is reported Vesti.kg.
On the eve of the imminent release of Bakiyev said the agency 24.kg his lawyer Ravshan Maksudov. He already had expired, and he will be released soon from prison due to illness, – he said. According to the lawyer, subject to the amnesty, as well as pre-trial detention in prison of the State Committee for National Security (which, as explained by Maksudov, the day is counted as two), put the sentence his client had already served.
Himself condemned, as reported, Fergana, also said recently that hopes soon to be released.
In the meantime GSIN information that a relative of the former president will soon be released, called nonsense. Even with the amnesty and spent days in a detention facility Akhmat Bakiyev has to sit and sit, – said the Head Office.

Ahmad Bakiyev was arrested in July 2010 – shortly after the incident in the Kyrgyz revolution. He was accused of organizing mass riots, extortion, seizure of land and other crimes. In August 2011 a relative of the president was sentenced to seven years in prison. Later, Ahmad Bakiyev came under an amnesty: this is reflected in the reduction of his sentence by one third.
