In Bishkek, more than fifty employees of the Office of Road Safety dismissed for taking part in the rally. Reported K-News. The rally in question was a response to the loss of traffic police officer Eshbaeva Aibek, who died under mysterious circumstances in the prison of the State Committee of National Security.
The rally, as the agency, was held February 15 in front of the SCNS. The participants demanded to investigate the circumstances of the death Eshbaeva. A similar campaign was carried out relatives of the deceased.
After the rally with the participation of employees UBDD Service of Internal Security Ministry said that police officers are not legally entitled to participate in rallies. Head of Service Aytmamat Rakhmanov pledged that those who came to the meeting will be punished. In addition, it was said that the responsibility to attract their bosses – for approval of such actions.
As a result of an internal investigation, four officials – the chief UBDD Bishkek and his deputy, as well as the battalion commander and chief of traffic police on duty parts – were dismissed from the Interior. In addition, more than 60 employees UBDD removed from office and transferred to the drill unit.
Employee UBDD Aibek Eshba, suspected of bribery, was arrested in early February. He was placed in a detention facility of the State Committee of National Security. February 13 it was announced that Eshba found dead (hanged on a lattice). In the National Security Committee said that the detainee committed suicide. Relatives of the deceased, in turn, believe that Eshba was beaten in jail, and then hanged, reported 24.kg.
Meanwhile, in the course of the proceedings it became clear that Eshba while in jail, first cut his veins. He was taken to the hospital, but soon returned back to prison.
Although the official version of suicide deaths Eshbaeva is, however, after this case, the chief prison SCNS removed from office. In addition, according to Kant.kg, were suspended shift supervisor and two supervisors.
